LUMIERE UNIVERSITY TERMS & CONDITIONS

By purchasing a membership to Lumiere University (“Program”), you (“Client” or “Member”) agree to these Terms & Conditions entered into by Lumiere Salon, LLC (“Company,” “Membership,”  “we,” or “us”).

MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES

When you join Lumiere University, you will receive:

  • Progressive Access to Classes: A curated selection of classes will unlock as you progress through the education library, keeping you focused and engaged without overwhelm.
  • Community Support: Access to an exclusive online community for collaboration, questions, and connection with like-minded stylists.
  • Coaching & Guidance: Direct coaching opportunities with Kristen to support your growth and success.

 

FEES

In consideration of Your access to the Membership, You agree to pay the annual or monthly fees listed on the checkout page for the Membership you choose.

You may choose between an annual payment (due immediately) or monthly payments. You understand and agree that you will continue to be enrolled in the Membership at the annual or monthly fee option You selected at checkout, unless and until you decide to cancel.

The Company will lock in Your annual or monthly payment amount for Your future Membership payments, even if we increase our prices in the future, so long as You continue to be an active member without interruption in your Membership. However, if You or we terminate Your subscription at any time and You re-subscribe at a later date, You must purchase a new subscription at the current price.

Recurring monthly payments are due and will be charged to your card on the same calendar day each month (if, for example, you sign up on April 12, your card will be charged again on May 12, June 12, and so on).

If You choose monthly payments, you agree to continue making a monthly payment until you request a cancellation according to the Cancellation Policy set forth below, or until we terminate your subscription. In the event that any payment is not made by the due date, the Company shall immediately suspend Your access to the Membership.

If You have chosen an annual Lumiere University subscription, the annual payment is due and Your subscription renews automatically at the end of twelve (12) months and Your debit/credit card will be charged the fee You chose at the time of purchase, until you cancel. Your subscription will be activated as soon as Your debit or credit card is successfully charged.

 

METHODS OF PAYMENT

You give us permission to automatically charge your credit or debit card for all fees and charges due and payable to the Company, without any additional authorization, for which you will receive an electronic receipt. You also agree that the Company is authorized to share any payment information and instructions required to complete the payment transactions with its third-party payment service providers (e.g., credit card transaction processing, merchant settlement, and related services).

Regarding recurring payments and outstanding invoices: If all eligible payment methods we have on file for you are declined for payment of your monthly or annual fees, you must provide a new eligible payment method promptly or your Membership access will be removed.

You agree to reimburse the Company for all collection and/or legal fees and expenses necessitated by lateness or default in payment.

Since we have a clear and explicit Refund Policy that you have agreed to prior to completing the purchase of the Membership, we do not tolerate or accept any type of chargeback threat or actual chargeback from your credit card company or payment processor. In the event that a chargeback is placed on a purchase or we receive a chargeback threat during or after your purchase, we reserve the right to report the incident to all three credit reporting agencies or to any other entity for inclusion in any chargeback database or for listing as a delinquent account which could have a negative impact on your credit report score. The information reported will include your name, email address, order date, order amount, and billing address. Chargeback abusers wishing to be removed from the database shall make the payment for the amount of the chargeback.

 

CANCELLATION & PAUSE POLICY

You may cancel or pause your membership at any time. To ensure we process your request in time, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an Email: Submit your cancellation or pause request by emailing [email protected]
  2. Provide 2 Business Days Notice: All requests must be submitted at least 2 business days before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the following cycle.

Pause Policy:

  • You may pause your membership for up to 3 months total within a 12-month period.
  • After 3 months, your membership will automatically resume unless you cancel.

Upon Cancellation:

  • If you cancel or pause your membership, you are required to cease all use of Lumiere University materials, including videos, downloads, templates, and any other resources obtained through the membership. Continued use after cancellation constitutes a violation of these Terms and will result in a cease-and-desist order and potential legal action.
  • Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of access without refund and may include legal remedies for damages.

 

REFUND POLICY

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, but please note that all monthly subscription payments are non-refundable once charged. This policy is governed by the following terms:

NO REFUNDS FOR MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTIONS
Once a monthly payment has been charged, no refunds will be issued. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the recurring billing schedule, and it is your responsibility to cancel the subscription in accordance with the policy below to avoid future charges.

NO PRORATED REFUNDS
There are no prorated refunds for subscriptions canceled mid-cycle. Access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

CHARGEBACK POLICY 

We have a clear and explicit Refund Policy that you agree to prior to purchase. We do not tolerate or accept chargeback threats or actual chargebacks. If you initiate a chargeback, we reserve the right to:

  • Report the incident to credit reporting agencies or other databases for delinquent accounts.
  • Include your name, email address, order date, order amount, and billing address in these reports.
  • Require payment for the chargeback amount to remove you from the database.

 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, including videos, resources, coaching materials, and community content, is the sole property of Lumiere University, LLC and is provided for personal, individual use only while you are an active member.

By agreeing to these Terms, you agree to:

  • Not share, copy, distribute, reproduce, or resell any Lumiere University materials.
  • Use the content solely for your own professional education and growth.

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Lumiere University is a supportive space, and respectful participation is expected. You agree to:

  • Engage positively with other members.
  • Refrain from self-promotion, spam, or soliciting services.

The Company reserves the right to remove members who violate these guidelines, without refund.

DISCLAIMER

Client understands Kristen Ewing, DBA Kristen Lumiere (herein referred to as “Consultant”) and Lumiere Salon LLC., is not an employee, agent, lawyer, doctor, manager, therapist, public relations or business manager, registered dietician, or financial analyst, psychotherapist or accountant. Client understands that Consultant has not promised, shall not be obligated to and will not; (1) procure or attempt to procure employment or business or sales for Client; (2) perform any business management functions including but not limited to, accounting, tax or investment consulting, or advice with regard thereto; (3) act as a therapist providing psychoanalysis, psychological counseling or behavioral therapy; (4) act as a public relations manager; (5) act as a publicist to procure any publicity, interviews, write-ups, features, television, print or digital media exposure for Client; (6) introduce Client to Consultant’s network of contacts, media partners or business partners. Client understands that a relationship does not exist between the parties after the conclusion of this Membership. If the Parties wish to continue their relationship, they shall execute a separate agreement.

LUMIERE LAB TERMS & CONDITIONS

By purchasing access to Lumiere Lab (“Program”), you (“Client” or “Member”) agree to these Terms & Conditions entered into by Lumiere Salon, LLC (“Company,” “Program,” “we,” or “us”).

 

PROGRAM INCLUDES 

  • Lifetime Access: Access to the course content for the life of the program.
  • Curated Education: All specified classes as outlined on the sales page at www.lumiereuniversity.com/lab. No additional classes or updates will be added beyond what is listed at the time of purchase.

FEES
In consideration of your access to Lumiere Lab, you agree to pay one of the following pricing options:

  1. One-time payment of $225 (due immediately).
  2. Two (2) monthly payments of $125.
  3. Three (3) monthly payments of $95.

All payment options are listed on the checkout page, and you understand and agree to the payment structure selected at the time of purchase.

Payment Agreement:

  • If you select a monthly payment plan, you agree to make all payments in full. Payments are due on the same calendar day each month. (For example, if you sign up on April 12, the subsequent payments will be charged on May 12, June 12, etc.).
  • Failure to complete payments will result in the suspension of access to the Lumiere Lab program until the outstanding payment is resolved.

 

7-DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE
 

If you are unsatisfied with the program within the first 7 days of purchase, you may request a full refund. However, in order to qualify for a refund, you must submit proof that you have completed and applied the course material and it did not work for you.

To request a refund, email [email protected] within 7 days of your purchase. Your email must include the required coursework outlined below.

REQUIRED COURSEWORK FOR A REFUND
To qualify for the 7-day money-back guarantee, you must submit ALL of the following:

  1. Submit at least five sentences describing the specific issues you encountered when applying the strategies in Lumiere Lab.
  2. Attach screenshots of at least two social media posts (must show publish dates within the 7-day refund period) where you implemented the course strategies to showcase or validate your work.
  3. Provide a brief explanation of why Lumiere Lab was not a good fit for you or your professional needs, including what you expected to gain and did not achieve.

NO REFUNDS AFTER 7 DAYS
Refund requests will not be granted after the 7-day Refund Period. Once this period has passed, all payments are non-refundable, and you are responsible for the full payment of the program fees, regardless of whether you complete the program.

If you opted for a payment plan and did not request a refund within the Refund Period (with the required coursework), you are legally obligated to complete all remaining payments.

By agreeing to these Terms, you agree to:
